Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Reporting Support
Make CDP preparation more traceable. Keep every claim with evidence, ownership and qualified review.
AIGreen Plus can help a Malaysian manufacturer scope its CDP response, organise environmental evidence, identify unanswered questions and prepare review materials. This is proposed consultancy and bounded digital assistance, not installed software, CDP accreditation, assurance or a promised score.

This service supports a manufacturer responding to an applicable CDP corporate or SME questionnaire by confirming the reporting boundary, mapping questions to approved evidence, structuring Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 records, documenting gaps and preparing a draft response pack. The client’s Submission Lead and qualified owners verify data, approve statements and submit through the CDP Portal; AIGreen Plus does not submit or determine the final response.

The proposed support can structure records and questions; responsible owners still assess evidence, applicability and decisions.
| Review point | Common starting position | Proposed consultancy support | Responsible reviewer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Questionnaire applicability and boundary review | Teams interpret requests, entities, reporting periods and modules across emails and spreadsheets. | Proposed templates and digital assistance can index prompts, entities, owners and open applicability questions. | The client confirms the applicable questionnaire, boundary and reporting position. |
| Environmental data and evidence mapping | Owners search folders for activity records, calculations, policies and supporting documents. | A scoped evidence index can group records by CDP question, source, period, factor and reviewer. | Data owners verify units, factors, provenance, completeness and relevance. |
| Gap, exception and assumption tracking | Missing evidence and unresolved estimates are copied between trackers and meeting notes. | A proposed register can standardise gap status, owner, due action, assumption and evidence link. | Qualified client personnel decide whether to obtain, estimate, qualify or omit information. |
| Response pack and submission review | A coordinator compiles narrative, tables and attachments for several review rounds. | Bounded drafting assistance can organise response notes and flag unsupported or unreviewed wording. | The Submission Lead and management approve the response and submit it; AIGreen Plus does not certify or guarantee a score. |
Create a question-linked evidence trail
Propose an index connecting each response prompt to an owner, reporting period, source record, calculation and review status.
Make organisational coverage explicit
Facilitate a documented boundary note for entities, sites, operations, supply-chain categories and exclusions requiring client confirmation.
Improve data traceability
Structure activity records with units, quantities, factors, factor source/version/date, evidence and reviewer fields.
Prepare a controlled handover
Assemble a gap log, draft response notes and decision list so authorised reviewers can challenge claims before submission.

50 → 35 combined labour minutes for the same task.
18 one defined CDP evidence-reconciliation batch units per month × 15 minutes less per unit.
11 → 4 per 100 checked error-affected administrative disclosure records, not emissions accuracy assurance, environmental incidents, compliance or product outcomes (7.0 percentage points).
See assumptions and calculations
| Measure | Illustrative calculation | Meaning and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Labour effort | (50 − 35) ÷ 50 × 100 = 30.0% | Same workload and expected review quality; includes ongoing exception checks as scoped. |
| Time capacity | (50 − 35) × 18 ÷ 60 = 4.5 hours | Released time is not payroll savings or guaranteed job reduction. |
| Admin checks | (11 − 4) ÷ 100 = 7.0 percentage points; 63.6% relative | Separate hypothetical like-for-like administrative check under the same error definition; figures are illustrative assumptions, not measured results, benchmarks or guarantees. |
Hypothetical same-workload scenario: a client coordinator spends 50 minutes locating, reconciling and annotating one evidence batch, including consultant prompts, client review and exception handling; a proposed structured index illustrates 35 minutes for the same task. This measures administrative effort only, not headcount, payroll, emissions, energy, CDP score or certification.
Scenario figures are illustrative arithmetic, not benchmarks, forecasts, actual customer results or guarantees. Measure a like-for-like pilot with the same definitions before making a claim.

What to prepare
- CDP request or self-selected disclosure intention, organisation profile, entity/site boundary, reporting period and Submission Lead supplied by the client sponsor
- Approved questionnaire, prior response if any, governance records, climate risks/opportunities, targets, policies and management-review evidence from responsible owners
- Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 organisational records capturing scope and category, activity/source, selectable unit, activity quantity, emission factor, factor unit such as kgCO2e/unit, factor source/version/date, reporting period, evidence and reviewer; client-approved factors only
- Water, forests, plastics, biodiversity, supply-chain or other topic records only where the applicable CDP questionnaire and written scope require them
- Existing spreadsheets, exports, calculation workbooks, supplier/site evidence and approved narrative records, provided with access permissions, provenance and confidentiality instructions
What to agree in writing
- This is scoped consultancy and proposed digital assistance, not an installed CDP reporting product, live portal integration, automatic submission service or replacement for client controls.
- AIGreen Plus does not act as CDP, issue an accredited score, provide certified assurance, give legal or tax advice, or determine whether a Malaysian organisation must disclose; applicability is confirmed for the organisation and period with qualified advisers.
- Client management, data owners and the Submission Lead approve boundaries, factors, estimates, narrative, omissions and final submission; no score, ranking, citation, financing, procurement or compliance outcome is guaranteed.
- Access, confidentiality, anonymisation, retention, deletion, system connections and manual fallback require written scope and least-necessary permissions; do not share personal or commercially sensitive data unless approved.
- Fees, timing, travel, recurring support, training, licences, external assurance, CDP fees, implementation and post-submission monitoring are separate quote items unless expressly agreed.

Frequently asked questions.
Ten practical answers about scope, sources, review and responsible use.
What does CDP Reporting Support cover for a Malaysian manufacturer?
It can cover questionnaire scoping, boundary confirmation, evidence mapping, Scope 1–3 data structure, gap tracking, draft response notes and review preparation. The exact work depends on the applicable CDP questionnaire and reporting cycle. It does not include a guaranteed score, certification or automatic submission.
What information should we provide first?
Provide the CDP request or intended self-selected route, entity and site boundary, reporting period, Submission Lead, prior response, policies, targets, risk records, activity data and supporting evidence. Identify missing records openly. Do not replace unknown values with invented factors or estimates.
How should our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 data be structured?
Each proposed record should capture scope and category, activity or source, selectable unit, quantity, emission factor and factor unit such as kgCO2e per unit, factor source/version/date, reporting period, evidence and reviewer. Client owners approve factors and boundaries; this is a template proposal, not an installed data-entry app.
Which CDP questionnaire or method applies to us?
CDP determines questionnaire pathways and publishes current questions, guidance and scoring materials. We can help review the request, company profile and reporting period, but applicability must be confirmed by your organisation with CDP guidance and qualified advisers. A CDP readiness review is not legal or tax advice.
Who approves the final CDP response?
Your Submission Lead and authorised management remain responsible for the final response. Data owners confirm calculations, boundaries and evidence, while qualified advisers may challenge assumptions. A consultant can facilitate and draft, but cannot approve your disclosures or submit on your behalf unless a separate written arrangement permits it.
Do the dashboard figures or time scenario show actual savings?
No. The dashboard rows and 50-to-35-minute scenario are fictional planning illustrations. They measure only hypothetical administrative gathering and checking, including review and exception effort. They do not claim headcount reduction, payroll savings, lower energy or carbon, improved operations or a higher CDP score.
Is this support certification, assurance or a guarantee of an A score?
No. It is consultancy to improve traceability and readiness. CDP scoring, if applicable, follows CDP’s own current methodology, and external assurance is a separate engagement. No result, ranking, citation, certification, investor response or procurement outcome is promised.
How are confidentiality and access handled?
Agree a minimum data list, named roles, access method, retention period, anonymisation approach and deletion or return process in writing. Use approved exports where possible. Your Malaysian legal, privacy and security advisers must assess applicable duties; reviewing records does not itself establish compliance.
Can this work with our existing folders, spreadsheets or systems?
Potentially, subject to discovery, permissions, provider limits, data quality and written scope. We can review exports or folder structures and retain a manual fallback. No existing integration, live CDP connection, sensor feed, fleet tracking or working software application is implied.
How long will the work take and what affects the quote?
Milestones depend on site and entity count, questionnaire topics, evidence readiness, owner availability, review rounds and external adviser input. Scope, workshops, sampling depth, data preparation, travel, training, system mapping and follow-up support affect the quote. We propose timing and recurring support after discovery; no fixed duration or 24/7 service is implied.
Discuss Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Reporting Support
Share a high-level question and the type of evidence involved—not confidential records. We can discuss discovery, scope and a written way to review the work.

Public official material — not accreditation.
- CDP: How to disclose
Supports the bounded disclosure process: portal access, confirming a Submission Lead, setting up the questionnaire, answering questions and submitting a response; it also distinguishes requested disclosure from self-selected disclosure.
- CDP: Our Question Bank
Supports that CDP publishes questionnaires and guidance for companies, that the corporate questionnaire covers environmental risks, impacts and opportunities across operations and supply chains, and that 2026 updates expanded or changed topic coverage.
- CDP Disclosure 2026
Supports the 2026-cycle context, including the stated final response deadline of 28 October 2026 and CDP’s explanation that companies may disclose in response to customer or capital-markets requests or voluntarily.
These official CDP pages support the disclosure process, questionnaire scope and 2026 cycle context only. They do not determine whether a particular Malaysian manufacturer must disclose, the correct entity boundary, legal or tax duties, assurance status or any score; applicability and final claims require organisation-specific confirmation with qualified advisers and authorised client reviewers.
Dashboards and numerical scenarios are fictional planning examples. The services are proposed consultancy scopes, not certification, accreditation, assurance, legal advice, regulatory approval or a promise of emissions, cost, staffing, safety, quality or market outcomes.
